Testimonials

Russ and Pat Lee

I wanted to thank not only Joan for helping me find the best business but also her assistant Patrick. They work as a team, and when Joan’s tied up, Patrick always had answers for me. It’s like having two people working to help you find a business. We appreciate it! Thanks for not letting us get into the food business in Santa Cruz. more...

Business Description:

This Commercial Specialty Products Company has been in business for over 30 years.  It   has two primary operations: one serving major local technology and service companies; the other providing clothing services to summer camps.  For technology and service businesses, the company provides consulting services, products and fulfillment programs to support their internal and external promotional activities, employee recognition campaigns, employee/participant uniform programs, image enhancement efforts, and retail programs. For summer camps, the company provides a complete outfitting service to their customers.  They distinguish themselves by ethically, predictably and reliably giving extraordinary service and outstanding value to customers and aligns itself with likeminded suppliers, service providers, and staff members.

The owners and their staff are not graphic artists, are not screen printers, nor are they embroiderers.  It can be described as a Virtual Marketing Company.  The company is a fulfillment center for corporate specialty products, and no inventory is stocked since there are over 750,000 products that can be imprinted using various techniques.  For the camp programs, for which there are no other competitors, they do keep the popular products in house to be shipped to customers/end users.

The company provides a wide range of art services using contract artists.  They only have three part-time employees other than the owner who is full-time and the spouse who works part-time.  This is a lifestyle business with business hours and no weekends or nights.  There are many growth opportunities including web presence and growing their camp business, which has just scratched the surface.
